The Mayflower Project is made up of a bank of 60 plus skilled, enthusiastic and friendly volunteers who have a skill to teach or a passion to share. We have a great team around us but as the Mayflower Project expands and grows so too must the crew so we are always on the look-out for talented and sociable people to join the team. If you've got skills to share or experience working with teenagers, then please get in touch, in particular we're looking for people to run workshops in the following things (but we are always open to new ideas.).

Beatboxing & loop pedals
Upcycling crafts. Make something from nothing?
Music - are you able to teach an instrument, run an open mic or get a jam going?
Henna/face-painting/hair braiding
Drama & performance

It's all very friendly and informal so technical skill and experience are less important to us than energy and enthusiasm. This is a voluntary role but in return you'll get free entry, usually food and travel and lots of free time to go enjoy the festival. You'll need to either have a DBS certificate dated within the last two years or be willing to undergo a new check, paid for by us. Please get in contact to arrange a chat if you'd like to know how you can get involved.
